Job Summary:

We are looking for a passionate and eager QA Tester (Fresher) to join our growing team. As a QA Tester, you will be responsible for testing our software products and ensuring their quality, performance, and functionality. You will collaborate with developers and the QA team to identify issues early and ensure that our products meet the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manual Testing:
  • Learn and perform manual testing on web and mobile applications.
  • Write and execute test cases based on product requirements and user stories.
  • Identify bugs and defects during testing and report them using bug-tracking tools (e.g., JIRA).
  • Test Documentation:
  • Assist in writing, reviewing, and maintaining test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Document test results and maintain clear records of test execution.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work with developers and the product team to understand the project requirements and provide feedback.
  • Participate in daily stand-ups and meetings to track project progress.
  • Learn & Grow:
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and techniques in software testing.
  • Participate in team training sessions to improve testing knowledge and skills.
  • Basic Test Automation (Optional):
  • Learn and assist in automating test scripts using tools like Selenium (if applicable).
  • Gain hands-on experience in automating regression and functional tests.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • A basic understanding of software testing concepts (manual testing).
  • Familiarity with common testing tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail) is a plus.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify issues and inconsistencies.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
  • Eagerness to learn and improve technical skills in software testing.
  • Ability to understand software requirements and test cases.

Preferred Skills (Not Required for Freshers):

  • Knowledge of basic SQL queries for database testing.
  • Exposure to test automation tools like Selenium or QTP (a plus).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies or SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Freshers with no prior professional experience in QA are encouraged to apply.
  • Any internship or academic experience in software testing is a plus but not required.
