About Enveu
Enveu powers OTT and streaming experiences for broadcasters and content owners globally. Our iOS engineers work on high-performance video delivery, complex playback architectures, and consumer-grade apps used by millions. This is not a maintenance role — you will own, design, and drive iOS engineering decisions.

You are a fit if you have
  • Built and shipped at least one iOS app with 50k+ active users — you know what production scale feels like
  • Owned architecture decisions — not just followed patterns someone else set, but chosen between MVVM, VIPER, Clean Architecture and justified why
  • Gone deep on Swift — you can explain memory management, value vs reference types, concurrency with async/await and actors without hesitation
  • Designed systems on a whiteboard — you can architect an offline-first app, a video player module, or a real-time feed from scratch
  • Mentored at least one junior or mid-level iOS developer
  • Debugged hard problems — memory leaks, race conditions, frame drops — and have stories to tell about them
What you will own at Enveu
  • Architecture and technical direction of the iOS application
  • Video playback experience — buffering, adaptive bitrate, DRM, PiP
  • Performance benchmarking and optimization of the app
  • Code review standards and engineering best practices for the iOS team
  • Collaboration with product and backend on feature design, not just implementation
Technical depth we expect
  • Swift — deep understanding, not just syntax familiarity. Concurrency, memory management, protocol-oriented design
  • Architecture patterns — MVVM, VIPER, or Clean Architecture. You know the components, the trade-offs, and when to use what
  • UIKit and SwiftUI — can work in both, knows when each is appropriate
  • Video technologies — AVFoundation, HLS, DRM (FairPlay), adaptive streaming is a strong plus and the space you'll grow deepest in
  • System design — can design a video caching layer, a modular app architecture, or an offline sync system
What we are not looking for
  • Developers who have followed patterns without understanding them
  • Ticket-takers who need detailed specs to execute
  • Someone who hasn't shipped to the App Store in a real production environment
Experience — Typically 5+ years of iOS development, but we care far more about depth than years.
